ABOUT:
Proud Sonoma County native and multi-instrumentalist Adam Charp loves to share the gift of jazz. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz and survivor of the 2017 Tubbs fire, Adam has years of professional experience and has played with many stellar local and bay area musicians.
Adam’s instrumental jazz trio primarily features guitar, bass and drums but can also come in other forms that may include piano, saxophone, or trumpet/flugelhorn. Adam or members of his trio have played at the Healdsburg Jazz Festival, the Gualala Jazz Festival, the Bern Jazz Festival, and a long list of local establishments and private events.

WHAT WE DO:
We specialize in standard jazz repertoire including the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Horace Silver, etc. We love bluesy jazz; Brazilian jazz (bossa nova/samba); slow, beautiful ballads; jazz waltzes; and even some funky/groovy beats when the occasion calls for it. We always ‘read the room’ to provide the most appropriate sound for the situation. We are happy to play indoors or outdoors.

SPACE:
We don’t need much. And for smaller venues such as wine bars or restaurants with limited space, the trio can come as a duo, with just two musicians.

OUR MISSION:
Whether as a Trio or as a Duo, we reliably provide tasteful, high-quality jazz that is sure to delight your guests/patrons. We pride ourselves in fulfilling our mission which is:
to enhance the ambience of social gatherings here in beautiful Sonoma county.
